[Tart Cherries / Sour cherries]

Handpicking fruit seems like such a mundane activity yet it is a profound process. One becomes a witness to its life cycle- from the budding to developing into a raw fruit to ripening to little bugs devouring it from inside out to reducing into a seed again only to grow into a new independent tree.

These tart cherries picked fresh from our farm is high in Vit. C content and sour to taste. We played around with some ingredients to come up with this ‘Roasted Savoury Cherry Spread’ liberally sprinkled with rosemary perfect for a quick evening snack.
