The Pollachi-Valparai road, which runs for 64 km and has 40 hairpin bends, was inaugurated in 1903.

Loam’s view point is a beautiful viewpoint at an elevation of 780m above the sea level located in the Anamalai Hills of the Western Ghats, in India. It's situated in the 9th hairpin bend towards Valparai from Pollachi on the Valparai Ghat Road.

The view point is named after Mr. Loam, a British general officer who was appointed to lay this road way back in 1886.

At a distance of 10 km from Valparai Bus Station, Lord Balaji Temple is one of the prominent temples located in Valparai, Tamilnadu. Situated inside Karumalai Tea Estate, it is one of the beautiful and the most visited Tourist destinations in Valparai.

Owned and managed by our group, the temple amidst tea estates and sprawling hill ranges, gives visitors a sense of frosty and serene atmosphere. The chief deity worshipped here is Lord Balaji who is also known as Lord Venkateshwara.

“Once a year, go somewhere you’ve never been before” – Dalai Lama

Valparai (originally known as Poonachimalai) is a Taluk and hill station in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu, India.
It consists of Anamalai Tiger Reserve (earlier known as Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park and prior to that as Anaimalai Wildlife Sanctuary).
It is located 3,474 feet (1,059 m).
The foothill starts exactly from Monkey Falls which is at a distance of 38 kilometres to Valparai. The route to Valparai from the foothills consists of 40 hairpin bends.

Nilgiri Tahr is the State Animal of Tamil Nadu. Locally known as ‘Varaiaadu’, it is endemic to Western Ghats. It is listed as Endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

It is usually found in the sloping areas of Western Ghats. Short in appearance, the male goat can be identified from its superior size compared with the female. An average adult male weighs between 80 to 100 kilograms with a height of around100 centimeters.
