Idyllic and verdant environs, perfect for honeymooners, families and just about anyone wanting to escape from a fast paced city life for a weekend, a week or for as long as your heart desires. The property has three very well appointed rooms, in addition to a fully equipped cottage with a private garden for guests who would like to stay longer or want to do their own cooking. We are pet friendly and pets are welcome to stay with their parents in the cottage.

The Great Escape is a homestay with a difference , personally managed by the owners who live on the premises to ensure there is no compromise on the quality of service provided to guests.

Wake up to a myriad birds serenading another glorious day here at The Great Escape. Nestled between the Sholas ( reserve forest) and the tea gardens, The Great Escape is a home away from home, with bisons, barking deer porcupines and birds of all hues for neighbours. Twenty Kms from Ooty and five Kms from Coonoor town on the Bharathnagar - Kotagiri Road, it’s an ideal getaway to de-stress and detox. Idyllic and verdant environs, perfect for honeymooners, families and just about anyone wanting to escape from a fast paced city life for a weekend, a week or for as long as your heart desires. The property has very spacious and well furnished rooms in addition to a fully equipped cottage. All the rooms have picture windows to enjoy the enchanting views.

Tariff includes a well appointed room for a couple and a complimentary breakfast. Additional meals can be provided at an extra charge. However advance notice needs to be given. Bookings are accepted through email or telephone. Booking/Reservation is confirmed on receipt of the tariff in advance. The charges can be remitted by electronic transfer to the designated account.
