The magnificent royal facade and grand staircase of Cossimbazar Palace provided the perfect setting for an evocative celebration of Bengal’s textile heritage. Directed by Anirban Sarkar, the Ethnic Fashion Show brought the Palace Day theme, “Textiles – Threads of History,” to life through the timeless beauty of Murshidabad silk, celebrating its weavers, craftsmanship, and enduring cultural legacy.

Against the grandeur of the historic Rajbari, every ensemble became a tribute to Bengal’s rich sartorial traditions—where art, history, and heritage came together on one unforgettable evening.

The show concluded with the participants being honoured and crowned by Shrimati Supriya Roy Devi, Shri Proshanta Kumar Roy Babu, and Shri Pallab Roy of the Roy family, adding a gracious royal touch to this celebration of living heritage.
