Dhola Vira is an archaeological site at Khadirbet in Bhachau taluka ,Kutch, Gujarat.
Locally known as Kotada Timba, this site contains ruins of the Harappan era, and the culture of the Indus Valley civilisation.
The 120 acre site was discovered in 1967-68 by the Archeological survey of India.
The surprising part is....on excavation no Human remains were found though they lived for over 1000 years, and it’s still a mystery where they came from, why they lived here, and where they disappeared to!
About 6 hours drive from Ahemdabad, the nearest airport to this site is Bhuj airport (220 Kms).
Eminent cities provide flights to Bhuj, after which the locals guide you to the site by cabs or buses.

Shyamaji Krishna Varma being one of those, had organized a revolutionary center in "India House" at London and propagated the cause of India’s independence through his writings in his publication journal called The "Indian Sociologist".
India House in Mandvi was built by our respected Prime Minister - Mr. Narendra Modi to pay tribute to the contribution of Shyamji Krishna Varma and also to educate the young generation about those great Indians who sacrificed everything for the country’s freedom.

Jain temples in the region of Gujarat and Rajasthan are known for their immaculate beauty. These temples are mostly built with white marble which gives a very elegant look even from a distance. The intricacy of the work on the walls and pillars, spectacular work on the inner side of the central domes, and several other characteristics are the highlights of these temples. 72 Jinalaya is no exception. It has a temple for 72 Deris of Lord Mahavir. Located on the Bhuj – Mandvi main road, and about 10 km before Mandvi, a stop at 72 Jinalaya is going to leave you stunned and amazed! The temple complex is locally called ‘Bauter Jinalaya’ (after the local slang for Bahattar Jinalay which translates to 72 Jinalaya in Hindi) and is short for ‘Adishwar Bauter Jinalay Mahatirth’.
