লামাহাট্টা.... লামা অর্থাৎ বৌদ্ধভিক্ষু আর হাট্টা অর্থাৎ আবাস। দার্জিলিং থেকে 23 কিমি দূরে 5700 ফুট উচ্চতায় দার্জিলিং -কালিম্পং রাজ্য সড়কের পাশেই অবস্থিত ছবির মতো সুন্দর ছোট্ট এই পাহাড়ি গ্রাম। যার একপাশে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা আর অন্যপাশে পাইন-ধুপির ঘনজঙ্গল। যেখানে মন চাইবেই হারিয়ে যেতে। ভাগ্য ভালো থাকলে হোমস্টের বারান্দায় দাঁড়িয়ে দেখতে পাবেন হরিণ, ময়ূর বা শজারু। এখান থেকেই দেখে নিন দাওয়াইপানী, তাকদা,তিনচুলে বা রবীন্দ্র স্মৃতি বিজড়িত মংপু। ইচ্ছা হলে চলে যান ত্রিবেণী সঙ্গমে তিস্তার সাথে একটু দেখা করতে।

ট্রেক করার ইচ্ছা করছে নাকি? তাহলে চলে যেতে পারেন উপরের Sacred lake এ বা Takdah orchid center এ ছোট্ট একটি ট্রেক করতে । বনফায়ার ও করতে পারবেন ইচ্ছা হলে। বাঙালির কাছে পাহাড় মানেই এখন শুধু দার্জিলিং নয়। পাহাড়ি গ্রামগুলিতে আজ বছরের যেকোন সময়ই উপভোগ করা যায়।তাদের আতিথিয়তা আপনাকে আপন করে নেবেই। পাহাড়ি সুস্বাদু খাবারের স্বাদ বহুদিন ভুলতে পারবেন না।হোমস্টে হলেও এখানে আপনি গিজার ও Wi-Fi দুটোই পাচ্ছেন। তাই বলি কি এই বছরের পয়লা বৈশাখ বা গরমের ছুটি অথবা যে কোন দিন উপভোগ করুন আমাদের সাথে আমাদের নিজস্ব হোমস্টে তে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘাকে সাথে রেখে ।
খরচ: জনপ্রতি @1200/- প্রতিদিন (on Triple/ Quad sharing basis)।এই খরচের মধ্যে আপনি পাচ্ছেন থাকা ও সারাদিনের খাওয়া অর্থাৎ Breakfast with tea, Lunch, Evening snacks with tea and Dinner .

বাঙালি দী-পু-দা’র গন্ডি পার করে ফেললেও পাহাড়ের মায়া ত্যাগ করবে না। হাতের কাছে মায়া জড়ানো উত্তরকন্যার এত অফবিট থাকতে আর কেনই বা করবে।
আর সকল ভ্রমণপিপাসু মানুষের কাছে পাহাড় অত্যন্ত প্রিয় এক গন্তব্য।আসল কথা হলো পর্যটকেরা ভালবাসেন প্রকৃতির সঙ্গে থাকতে।⛰️🗻🏞️🌄
