Tumsong Chiabari : The Tea Retreat, located amidst Tumsong Tea Estate, is an inviting resort owned by Chamong Tee Exports Pvt Ltd. Our Story:
Locals worshipped a Hindu goddess, Tamsa Devi and dedicated a temple to her on a steep slope that rose from 2700 ft to 5500 ft and inadvertently offered fantastic views of the majestic Kanchenjunga.The goddess Tamsa presides over this serene and surreal land

scape and fills the atmosphere with harmony. In1867, keeping the sentiments of the indigenous population in mind, the Tumsong Tea garden was planted around the temple and the name and existence of Tumsong came into being......

Tumsong Teas are known to be amongst the best in the Darjeeling plantation industry and command high prices at auctions. We have hence decided to share the rejuvenating experience via the Chiabrai Resort where the earnest staff and the cozy rooms offer a stay to those looking for a pleasant getaway! Perhaps that's why, in the area, Tumsong is often referred to as the garden of happy hearts!
