After a long season of use, it was time for a little tender loving care.
One early morning, two dedicated caretakers arrived, ready to breathe new life into the pool. The first, a tall figure with a determined look, stood at the edge, carefully handling a hose that snaked along the bottom of the pool. His task was to ensure the pool was thoroughly cleaned and free of any debris. His partner, a diligent worker kneeling closer to the foreground, was busy scrubbing the tiles, making sure every inch sparkled like new.

As the day progressed, the pool began to regain its former glory, ready to welcome back the laughter and joy of those who would soon dive into its refreshing waters. The caretakers, satisfied with their efforts, knew they had played a part in creating a space where memories would be made once again.

Maghe Sankranti/Makar Sankrati (माघे सङ्क्रान्ति), is a Nepali festival observed on the first of Magh in the Vikram Sambat (B.S) or Yele calendar bringing an end to the winter solstice containing month of Push(पुष). Tharu people celebrate this particular day as new year. It is also regarded as the major government declared annual festival of the Magar community. Maghe Sankranti is similar to solstice festivals in other religious traditions.
