Being so far away from my birthplace, hearing the language echo through the hills felt like a piece of home had found me. The familiar accents, the South Indian Food, the warmth in their conversations- everything wrapped around my heart like a long- missed hug,For a moment Darjeeling didn’t feel so far from home. I wasn’t just a host attending to guests. I was a daughter of the south welcoming my own people in the Northeast. It felt less like hospitality and more like a beautiful family reunion written by destiny ❤️✨
