About: The Tamang family welcome you to our warm and friendly Happy Valley Homestay in the best location at Ho**er Road in Darjeeling.The place got its name from Sir Joseph Dalton Ho**er,who was one of the greatest British botanists and explorers of the 19th century.He would be the first European to collect plants in the Himalaya.From Kolkata he traveled by elephant to Mizapur,up to Ganges by boat to Siliguri and overland by pony to Darjeeling in 1848. We have all modern amenities in our home ,private rooms with western and Indian bathrooms including restaurant which serve different cuisine including local food.
