The original Talabgaon Castle, which stands today, was built in 1818 by Thakur Vijay Singh ji Rathore, and remains in the Rathore family today. Heritage Resort, located in the heart of Rajhasthan (previously known as Rajputana), India, is 1.5 hours drive south of Japiur and 1.5 hours north of Sawai Madhopur Tiger Reserve in Ranthambore. Talabgaon Castle can be reached via Dausa (1.5 hours) and is 4.5 hours drive from Agra.
