SALWOODS, the boys hostel nestles in the cool serene and tranquil Paundha valley, surrounded by mango orchards and lush green sal and teak covered hillocks on all sides. To the north, it offers panaromic view of Mussoorie hills, Binog Top and Bhadraj Top, which are snow bound in winters. Located just about 1.5 Kms from the Bidholi campus and 2.5 Kms from the Kandoli campus of UPES, Hostel Salwoods offers an undisturbed calm and quiet atmosphere for academic pursuits. The cool and crisp unpolluted mountain air, add a zest to life at Salwoods. Managed and supervised 24 x 7 personally by the owner couple from defence and educational background, who live adjacent to the hostel, Salwoods offers a congenial family atmosphere to the residents.
