Karimeen pollichathu one of the traditional delicacies originating from Kerala. This black fish made by wrapping marinated pearl spot fish (karimeen) in banana leaves after which it is grilled.

Its so delicious that this fish has been honoured with the title of being the State Fish of Kerala.
