Day 01: Delhi - Shimla
Travel by surface from Delhi to Shimla
Shimla: former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities.
Arrive Shimla Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, evening enjoy at mall road. Later back to hotel. overnight saty at hotel in Shimla.
Day 02 : Shimla - Kufri - Local Sightseeing - Shimla (25 KMS)
Today morning after breakfast at 7-8 am proceed towards Kufri (Including Kufri Fun Park)..and nearby places like Advance Study & Jakhoo Temple . Later in the afternoon at 3-4 pm return to Shimla. Then you are free to explore The Mall Road,Tara Devi Temple, Ridge, and Scandle Point. Lakkar Bazaar, Christ church and Lower Bazaar. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kufri - (Altitude 2622 m) known for its ski runs kufri. 16 kms away from shimla, attracts the largest number of tourists who come to shimla it has a backdrop of peaks covered with snow ,
Jakoo Hill – The top of the hill is 2 km away from ridge. The Hill of Jakhoo towers over shimla has long been crowned with temple dedicated to Bhagwan Hanuman. Various legends are told of the significance of this spot that Hanuman Ji stopped here while searching for the Sanjivini plant.
Advance Study –Indian Institute of Advance Study, This magnificent building, built in Elizabeth Style of English renaissance was completed in 1888.
The Mall – One can’t miss the mall in shimla, it is not only a shopping centre but also a well maintained level of about 500m where people spend their leisure hours walking to & fro.
Day 03: Shimla – Manali (280 kms / 7 hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel ,and go to Volvo stand and leave for manali….
Manali : at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station situated at a height of 2050 m (6398 ft) in the Himalayas. Situated on the Beas river (Vyaas in Hindi) and near its source, it is a popular tourist spot for Indians in summer and a magical, snow-covered place in winter. A staging point for a number of treks (Beas Kund, Chandrakhani Pass) and sports such as white-water rafting, Manali is also on the road to Ladakh via the valley of Lahaul and Spiti and rohtang pass which is main attraction near manali.
Arrive at Manali and check in the hotel,Rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets overnight stay at hotel at Manali.
Day 04 : Manali & Local City Tour & Kullu sight seen
1. Hadimba Devi Temple:- It chief central of interest in Manali , dedicated to the goddess Hadimba , the Wife of Bheema of Mahabharata Fame, This is wooden temple, In the dense forest of magnificent deodar, is about 2.5 Kms from the Mall. It is a pleasant stroll to the temple which was built in 1553 A.D.
2. Vashisht(3.5 kms from Mall) :- Hot Sulphur Water springs – which is widely believed as an effective skin diseases healer and posses various medical properties . Nearby it , is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to vashisht Muni & lord Rama temple.
3. Tibetan-Monastery(0.5 Kms) :- This Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa dominates the Tibetan area builtin 1969. The main attraction of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery
4. Club House (2 Kms from Mall) :- Club house is famous for a amusement activities like skating, Disco Theque, auditorium etc..
Later in the evening free to explore the Shopping Malls (Mall Road & IBEX Market) of Manali. Dinner & Overnight
5.Kullu – Manikaran : Enjoy the excursion to visit Manikaran. Manikaran has the World’s hottest Suplhur Spring Waters and is a holy place for Hindus & Sikhs alike. Return back to Kullu town enroute visiting the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. Drive back to Manali. Check in at the Hotel in Manali.Overnight stay at the Hotel in Manali.
Day 05: Manali - Rohtang Pass (Snow Point)
After early breakfast visit to excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) Carry warm clothes like hand gloves, muffler, sweater, shawl, socks & sports shoes etc. Enroute overcoats and shoes are available on hire. Please note that Rohtang Pass (altitude 3940 mts.) is actually 51 kms. far from Manali, due to heavy snow covering the road, this pass is not accessible during heavy snow fall for Snow Point, and Sollang Valley.Later back to hotel.evening free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel at Manali.
Day 06 : Manali- Delhi
Morning enjoy the breakfast and check out from the Hotel. Catch the Volvo Bus in Evening and end our services…….Day 07 Early Morning reach Dealhi……………
