Painting Wing Painting Wing is one of the renowned club of BIT Sindri. The aim of the club has been to develop and promote the arts culture among students in the campus.

We through our distinctive and immersing activities each year, try to create a vibrant and colourful atmosphere on the campus. The myriad of activities by Painting Wing includes the competitive inter-hostel events, the open events, art gallery visits, campus exhibitions. In 2023, the country is celebrating 74th Republic Day and we gather together to celebrate the spirit of unity and diversity which makes our country so special.
India gained independence from British rule on 15 August 1947. 26 January was the date selected as the official endorsement date as a nod to the Purna Swaraj. This was the day of adoption of the constitution on 26th of January 1950. The constitution of India is of high intimation and remains the supreme law of India.

Let us all pledge on this Republic Day to work together to build a stronger, more prosperous , and more developed India. Let us celebrate the diversity and unity that makes our country great, and let us work to make it even greater. Jai Hind!

सरस्वति नमस्तुभ्य वरदे कामरूपिणि विद्यारम्भं करिष्यमि सिध्दिर्भवतु मे सदा ।।

Vasant Panchami, generally called as Saraswati Puja is celebrated to tribute our Hindu goddess Saraswati. In our Hindu dharma, mata Saraswati is regarded as the goddess of education, knowledge and creativity. This year, the celebration of Saraswati Puja is on 26th January. This auspicious festival also marks the beginning of spring season. This festival is celebrated in various different ways in Indian religion depending upon the region. On this day, students of various schools and colleges dress up in beautiful attire and perform Saraswati Puja seeking for the right mindset from the goddess of learning.

Subhash Chandra Bose known to common folks as "Netaji" was a proud Indian Nationalist who believed in the idea of freedom at any cost. Every year on 23rd January, Netaji's birthday is celebrated as Parakram Divas, to commemorate his contribution to the country,

His contributions towards making India free are unforgettable. His endeavor to free India from British rule known no boundaries. He was one of India's most revered freedom fighters and inspired millions of people with his ideas and teachings.

15 th Jan 2023 marks the 74th army day. Every year "Army day" Is celebrated in memory of general km Cari Apa taking command of the Indian army from general sir Bucher, the last British commander in chief in 1949. He became the first Indian commander in chief of independent India.

We as Indians take immense pride in our army and respect its sacrifice and contributions to our country.

Makar Sankranti is a major Hindu festival that is predominantly celebrated in many parts of India. The day marks the transition of the Sun from Sagittarius (Dhanu Rasi) to Capricorn (Makara Rasi) and is generally celebrated on the 14th of January as an annual festival. This festival is dedicated to lord Surya.

This auspicious day is filled with love, sharing, sweets, and greetings. The sky is packed with light and many beautiful kites followed enjoyment. This emotion and the cultural moment are celebrated with many names along with different customs across the Indian landmass.
