Kashi is not just a place.

A cave where nature performs Jal Abhishek 24/7. 🕉️✨

Hidden amidst the lush greenery of Dehradun, Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a sacred cave temple where the Shivling is naturally bathed by continuously dripping water from the cave ceiling.

The constant tap-tap of water is believed to be the reason behind the name Tapkeshwar. 🌿💧

According to local belief, this is the ancient Drona Gufa, associated with Guru Dronacharya. Inside the cave, the peaceful atmosphere, natural rock formations and the sound of dripping water create an experience that feels truly different from a regular temple visit.

Just beside the temple, a flowing stream adds to the natural beauty and peaceful vibe of the place. 🌊🌿

✨ Pro tip:Visit before 8 AM if you want to experience the temple with fewer crowds and a more peaceful atmosphere.

As the sun sets over the Ganga, Triveni Ghat comes alive with the sacred Ganga Aarti, the sound of bells, devotional chants, glowing diyas and the river flowing quietly alongside it all. 🪔

Located at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati (as traditionally believed), Triveni Ghat is one of the most revered spiritual spots in Rishikesh.
