This world is a gorgeous place. So go out. Explore. And let it blow your mind.
So this morning I woke up from a sound sleep, which ensured that I wouldn't know anything about the storm last night. But as I stared outside my window, I watched it snow up the mountains, and they were filled with snow, with clouds covering them in between. And I remembered that today is supposed to be the first day of this weekend long storm.
Happily I sprang out off my bed, wore my shoes, washed my face, picked up the thickest of my jackets since it's cold today, and left my place with the camera.
I went to the nearest stall to have a cup of tea, as it started raining again. However, shivering, I walked through the rain to a view point where on one side I could see the ranges filled with snow for a fleeting second, before the clouds covered them again, and as I looked on the other side, I could see the intensity of the storm, while far away a morning sun unsuccessfully tried piercing through the clouds.
And I stared at those folds in the hills, and the orange light giving a surreal effect to it all.
I stood there for few minutes. With camera in my hand, with its waterproofing coming to full effect. And my eyes fixed at the view. As it rained over me. My jacket was drenched. My shoes were wet. But it didn't matter. My house was just few minutes away and I could change my clothes. Actually nothing else mattered, except the magic which was there on display.
This morning in Mcledganj.
