*Job brief*
We are hiring an experienced Operator for a monolayer extrusion plant and ceiling/roll cutting machine for biodegradable plastic bag manufacturing. The operator will run, monitor, and maintain extrusion, slitting/cutting and sealing machines to produce high-quality biodegradable bags.
*Key responsibilities*
Set up and operate monolayer extrusion lines and slitting/cutting (ceiling) machines.
Monitor machine parameters (temperature, speed, die gap, take-off, tension) and make adjustments.
Load raw materials (resins/fillers/additives) and change rolls.
Inspect finished bags for defects (thickness, seals, dimensions) and perform quality checks.
Routine cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance/troubleshooting.
Record production data (kg produced, rejects, downtime) and report issues to the owner.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
*Required skills & experience*
1–3 years (or more) experience operating film extrusion and slitting/cutting machines — preferably monolayer lines.
Good mechanical aptitude; ability to perform basic adjustments and minor repairs.
Able to read basic production sheets and measure with calipers/micrometer.
Reliable, punctual, able to work in shifts and lift moderate weight.
Basic understanding of polymer processing parameters is a plus.
*Good-to-have*
Experience with biodegradable/polymer blends (e.g., PBAT blends, fillers).
Knowledge of machine electrical panels and PLC basics.
