The home stay is located at the edge of the village Edava, embedded in a rural area in front of vast paddy fields & surrounded by coconut trees. A 5 minutes walk brings you to the sea with lovely, quiet beaches. It's the perfect place for all who seek for a calm and chilled place to relax, work or recreate. Fireflies, bats and a lot of birds (and other animals) can be spotted in the area. When the
rice is ripe, you also can see parrots coming (mostly late afternoon), to pick some grains (that's where we got our name from). Edava is actually the closest community to Varkala cliff, but the beach/cliff received it's name from the next bigger city Varkala. The home stay is about a 20 minutes foot walk away from Varkala cliff/beach, so you can reach it easily, but we also provide the possibility to rent a scooter, so you can get there even faster. This way you also can explore the splendid beaches, temples and other wonderful destinations in the area. Don't hesitate to ask us for guidance here. The home stay has an extra kitchen, so you can provide yourself with food. It's also possible to receive breakfast, lunch or dinner from us, just tell us your wishes in advance (just give us enough time to prepare...). Our rooms (~19 and ~18 m2) got it's own bathrooms and terrace. Further there is a roof to do yoga or just sit, relax, enjoy the stunning view and listen to the ocean.
