Jhini Chadariya does the very important work of rediscovering, reviving and popularising endangered prints and handloom clusters. They work directly with artisans and weavers, and bring their beautiful creations to us. They also help individuals with mental and physical disabilities develop skills and provide them with sustainable job opportunities.

Shopping is always fun, but buying these creations helps save our art and heritage! We are showcasing the splendor of Gujarat: Tangaliya, single Ikat/patola, batik, and opulent Ashavali sarees.

Our event partner BEAD Social Enterprise works to empower weavers and artisans by creating opportunities for low-wage earners to supplement their family income.

They are bringing us beautiful sarees, skirts, dupattas and stoles - blockprinted with ecofriendly dyes, embellished with Kasuti embroidery from Dharwad, or hand-painted in the Gond style from Madhya Pradesh.

What a Sunday it was!
We were super tired at the end of the day...but super happy and satisfied too at the conclusion of our maiden art workshop - The Gond Tribal Art Workshop conducted by the Madhya Pradesh State awardee Sushila Shyam and her husband - the Gond couple from Bhopal 😊

The BougainVilla, Bed & Breakfast and Paru's Kitchen at The BougainVilla measured up! We pulled off a great event and it was very heartening and gratifying to see the all the participants leave happy and energised.😇

And how much art was created! Every painting was amazing!!
Let's do this together - again and again and again folks..😍
