The Ranka Monastery, also known as Lingdum Monastery or Pal Zurmang Kagyud Monastery, is a beautiful Buddhist shrine located about 20 kilometers from Gangtok in East Sikkim. Founded in 1998 by the 12th Zurmang Gharwang Choktrul Rinpoche, it follows the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.
