Our first offer of fish fries received very exciting response. Thanks to our clients' fabulous response during Durga Puja. But we could only take prior orders and some may have missed out. Sorry for that. We are just getting into home deliveries of cooked food and not rushing for orders.

Next week will be better, I promise you all! We shall inform you in advance.... Thanks, patrons!

The biggest few things about food business:
1) Never start reducing quality once people have started liking your food. People are very sensitive to this.

2) Never abruptly raise the prices just to maximise profits. If the market costs of ingredients are going up sharply, keep speaking to your clients about the coming need to hike prices. They too buy from the same market, so they will know and consulting them will bring you respect.

3) Always ensure the ingredients are genuine and that especially, the vegetables and non=veg items are as fresh as possible. If there is any hint that the stuff may have degraded or might rot in the short run, just chuck it.

We follow these are our basic mantras at NonVeg Empire!

What awesome three evenings at our food stall, NonVeg Empire, at Atal Chowk, Vasundhara... packed stall... we worked till 1.00 am last night!

The patrons were extremely happy because you will just not find Bengali Fish Fry or Pathar Ghughni outside of CR Park... and we are now challenging any seller of such food to meet us with the same taste and price we have on offer.

We shall start selling all these exotic items from our shop from Friday through Sunday. We shall let you know by WhatsApp!

cuisine is the best example of tragedy creating the base for triumph. Our medieval culture of sending our young widows to the backend of the homes, desolate and lonely (there is a complex history behind one community having an army of young widows).

These widows sought their own limited emancipation in getting into R&D for food... and we have an awesome variety....

The Muittha is one such example.... Chital is a big fish, half of which is impossible to eat because there are just too many bones... so what did those R&D ladies do?

They scrapped the shoulder side of the fish very carefully, culling out the tender flesh, mixed some great masala, made these into fish dumpling sort of thing and made a fantabulous gravy that conquered hearts!

NOW, the creators are gone, their daughters are twinkling stars smiling down upon us, but Empire has decided to bring the recipe back to you. The ORIGINAL recipe!

Here is a very rare (nowadays) and difficult food item we are bringing in very soon. It is called Macher Muittha, originally a dish from then East Pakistan, now .

So many people have lamented that they all want it but the recipe as well as the very exacting technique has been lost with our grandmothers.....

NO, for God's sake... I am there, I will cook it and serve it very soon, don't worry! And the recipe is ORIGINAL... no short cuts and no dilution
