A few things to know, before you arrive, so you can truly settle in at Amrapali House of Grace:

1. We share our home with five loving dogs who are very much part of everyday life here. We do not tie our dogs but we keep them away during meal times.
2. Amrapali is a heritage homestay, over 100 years old, carrying stories, character, and a sense of time that moves gently.
3. Life here is unhurried. We believe in slowing down, being close to nature, finding inner calm, and giving each guest the space to do the same.
4. Our kitchen works with mostly locally sourced ingredients and follows an à la minute approach, so every meal is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Therefore, it takes us 1.5-2 hours to prepare your meals fresh.
5. Getting around Goa can be tricky — reach out to us in advance and we’ll be happy to help arrange transport for a smoother stay.

Narkasur effigies are burnt in Goa every year before Diwali. The burning of Narkasur represents the victory of good over evil. Every village makes their own Narkasur and parades them to win the competition for the best designed effigy. Particularly grand is the parade that happens in Margao. Tonight is the night for the burning of Narkasur and the celebrations that follow

We were thrilled to welcome Jai and his lovely fiancée, Vipra, for a beautiful photoshoot that captured their love and happiness against the backdrop of our serene boutique property. From the moments of love and togetherness shared in our intimate space, their visit was filled with a laughter and joy that we were lucky to witness. 🌸📸
