Sometimes it takes meeting someone for just a few minutes to know that whatever they do - they will do very well AND they will DO MUCH GOOD.
, we miss you! We can't wait to see all your smart brain things in print (and generally all the uber cool things you will do). Thank you for reminding us to "stop and notice the flowers bloom", for the company, coversation and being bonobo ape-y with us.
(Google bonobo ape female bonds, enlightened us 🙂)

hello hi friends! I spent the last two weeks alone in an apartment in Siolim and didn’t take a lot of photos, but here are some. the first is a selfie I took in the middle of the night last Thursday, after an essay draft I’d struggled with for *months* finally poured out of me, and I felt full on GIDDY about it — I wanted to memorise the moment. I’m excited (and, like, terrified) to get some writing in front of you all soon — hang tight. for now, I’m as excited just to be doing it at all. turns out I really, really needed some quiet. the rest of these photos are an ode to the beautiful, green, madly calming and inspiring , to which I owe all the quiet and therefore all the words. Devika, Inchara and Neeta, who built and run Curioso, are a magic trio of former city-dweller full-time jobbers who realised there’s more creativity and calm to be found away from all of that — they’re right, I can attest. they’re also brand new old friends (you know what I mean) that I’m thrilled to have made. thank you for making me grilled cheese sandwiches when I forgot to eat lunch and for gently sprinkling my solitude with the occasional totally life-changing conversation — and for the succulent. I’ll be back literally as soon as possible. shoutout also to .s and who showed up for my final weekend in Goa to crash my reading-writing peace and quiet because what else are friends even for. heart is full. drafts folder is fuller. thank you for allowing this gushing. go get some alone time 🌿 @ Curioso Studio and Suites
