One of the biggest nature challenges comes to Goa!! Become part of the City Nature Challenge and contribute towards our understanding of biodiversity. Create an iNaturalist account and document as many observations from your neighborhood and beyond. Get your images identified, validated and in doing so contribute towards creating a database for your locality and the State. The event is anchored by Mrugaya Xpeditions, a responsible travel company based in Goa. You can email on [email protected] for queries, if any

Happy to introduce "Jungle trails homestay" an initiative of the women of Talde, Sacorda-Goa ably supported by Mineral Foundation of Goa and partnered by Mrugaya Xpeditions.
Community tourism is a new phenomenon taking into consideration evolving trends of travel and hospitality. It takes the tourism industry to a new level all together. It helps to nurture the true spirit of a healthy host-visitor relationship and ensures equitable sharing of resources for a sustainable future.
While, ecotourism as a concept is being discussed and debated in various circles, the women of Talde have stepped forward to create a model to emulate for the state of Goa, which is attempting to find direction for its hinterland tourism policy.
The project provides comfortable stay in a village setting and promotes nature based activities that include nature trails, treks, bird watching, butterfly watching, lesser fauna exploration assisted by expert naturalists and local guide with traditional knowledge. The project is also ideal for a family or a group that wants to spend quality time together.
The project is operated by women from village who are not formally trained which makes their service even more special and homely. Remember that the project operates on a strict ‘NO-AlCOHOL’ policy and expects all guests to abide by it.
