Some stories are too precious to be left in the past.

At Kazi Nemu, they live on our walls.

From the music and memory of the legendary Zubeen Garg, to the courage of Lachit Borphukan, and the landscapes, people and traditions that have shaped Assam for generations—each painting carries a little piece of where we come from.

Some are painted on canvas. Some preserve the old Assamese tradition of painting on silk. Together, they remind us that heritage is not simply something we inherit. It is something we choose to keep alive.
