Castle Bera , A gem located close to Udaipur , run by Thakur Baljeet Singh of Bera is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts . The castle has 10 beautiful rooms done in the typical Rajasthan Decor . The food served is, The cuisine of Rajasthan , absolutely delicious !! Bera is a Leopard Sanctuary with the large Jawai Bandh ( lake ) in the heart and is typical leopard country . There are approximately 60 leopards in Bera and sightings are pretty regular considering it a shy animal by nature . Conversations with Thakur Baljeet Singh are an absolute delight and he and his staff make your stay delightful . A must do is the leopard safari .
