It begins with a slow walk or a cycle to ‘The Village’, where goats, ducks, cows and rabbits are part of the everyday — the rabbits, known to multiply faster than you can count, usually surrounded by little guests stopping by to feed them.

From there, the day finds its way through bird calls, open greens, a round of cycling on the 4.5 km track, or a quiet pause at Under The Neem.

And in between it all, peacocks wander past, butterflies linger, and the occasional nilgai appears in the distance — not as an experience set apart, but as part of everything that naturally exists here. 💛

Move, play, pause, explore — all in one place.

At Karma Chalets, the day doesn’t follow a fixed plan. It shifts with how you feel — a morning cycling through the greens, time with farm animals, a round of pickleball, a quiet game of chess, or a walk noticing birds and small details along the way. A swim when the day warms up, or simply slowing down between moments.

Guests staying at Karma Chalets have access to all the activities at Karma Lakelands — from open greens and nature trails to a range of experiences that let the day unfold at your own pace. Some moments are active, others slower, but all remain within reach. It becomes less about choosing one thing to do, and more about letting the day move between many.

Snoopy, our family dog, arrived long before many parts of the space took their final shape, and in many ways, he grew alongside it. He moved freely through the greens, rested where he pleased, and naturally found his place among people without ever needing to be introduced.

When Under The Neem and the larger property were still taking form, he was already there — part of everyday moments, part of how the space felt.
It was through him that the idea of being pet-friendly never needed to be formally decided. It simply became obvious.

The ease with which he belonged made it natural for others to do the same, and over time, more pets began to arrive, each finding their own place here just as he had.

Today, when guests come with their companions, that same openness continues. What began with Snoopy remains a part of the space — not as a policy, but as a way of welcoming, where pets are not accommodated, but included.

Set under open skies, our alfresco tables invite you to settle in — not just for a meal, but for time that stretches a little longer than planned. Cappuccinos ease you into slow afternoons, the garden stays within sight, and what arrives on your table has often come straight from it.

As the day shifts, so does the mood. Conversations deepen, cocktails appear, and the evening gathers quietly around you.

Check-in is kept simple and unhurried, with a welcome drink offered as you settle in.

Here, you’re introduced to the property through a brief walkthrough of the map, helping you understand how the space unfolds around you.

It is also where you meet your guest manager, who becomes your point of contact through the stay, ensuring that everything moves with ease from the very beginning. 🤍

When you arrive at Under The Neem, the first thing you notice are the doors - left open through the day, allowing the space to move seamlessly between the indoors and the al-fresco. The teal sits easily within the greens, becoming part of the landscape rather than standing apart, and over time the space has shaped itself through use, memory, and people.

The swing, now one of the most recognised corners here, was never part of the original plan. It was discovered while sourcing furniture, placed briefly on the terrace, and later moved under the neem tree on a suggestion from within the family. What followed happened on its own — guests began to gather around it, photographs were taken, and it slowly became a part of how people remember this place. The name stayed, the moment stayed, and the sign you see today - hand-painted by Vanshika (our Creative Director) - became a marker of how the space grew into itself.

P.S. Snoopy, the family dog of the founding family, was there through the early days of Under The Neem and even part of this shoot-one of his last visits—shaping the space into one where pets feel just as welcome as people.
