Imagine seeing Karma Chalets not through the eyes of a guest, but through the eyes of everything that already calls it home.

What does a bird see when it flies above the old trees? A

India has always been a country where nature writes its own stories — through changing seasons, ancient trees, landscapes and ecosystems that have existed long before us. At Karma Lakelands, spread across 270 acres, we get to witness a small part of that abundance every day.

For the founding family, the idea was never simply to create a destination. It began with something far more fundamental — to plant trees, nurture the land, and allow a relationship with nature to grow over time, led by Ashwani Khurana.

Perhaps the greatest achievement of a nature retreat is not how much nature it adds, but how carefully it allows nature to continue existing.

This Independence Day, we celebrate not just the colours of our flag, but the colours that have always belonged to this land — growing, blooming, and reminding us that nature has been celebrating long before us.
