1) Election Notification: 21-09-2016
2) Filing of Nominations: 22-09-2016, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 23-09-2016, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
3) Scrutiny and notification of valid nominations: 23-09-2016, 7:00 p.m.
4) Withdrawal of Nominations: 24-09-2016, 10:00 a.m. - 1 :00 p.m.
5) Notification of final list of Candidates: 24-09-2016, 8:00 p.m.
6) No Campaign Day: 27-09-2016, 2.00 p.m. onward
7) Polling of Votes: 28-09-2016, 9:00 a.m. - 5 :00 p.m.
8) Counting of Votes & Results Declaration: 29-09-2016, 9:00 a.m. onward

The venue for filing/withdrawing nominations would be the Office of the Dean, Students' Welfare (Lake View Guest House). The nomination forms, guidelines for filing nominations and Eligibility Criteria can be collected from the DSW's Office on 22nd September 2016 from 9.00 a.m onward.

The deposit for each post is Rs.250/- (General candidates) and Rs. 100/ (SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Center for Dalit & Adivasi Studies & Translation (CDAST),is organizing a 3 day National Seminar on JAMBAPURANAM in collaboration with Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore from 9-11 May 2016. THe iangural will be held at the Conference Hall, Lake View Guest House, University of Hyderabad and will continue at Auditorium, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad on 10-11 May 2016.
