Boys Town, a unique Institution situated in the old City of Hyderabad has been serving the most deprived and marginalized communities for the last five decades. The All Saints High School, taken over by the Society in 1932, completed its centenary in 1955. As part of the All Saints centenary events, our illustrious predessors decided to start an orphanage to help destitute children who were ill-ac
commodated in schools for privileged children. Some informal teaching followed. Once the good news spread, families in the neighbourhood flocked with their children. The school was regularized and recognized by 1958. It has, since then, grown into a high school. Today, the Montfort Society runs several schools through out the State and has a fraternity of seventy-eight Brothers dedicated to education and service to the needy. The education Boys Town high school offers and the salaries it pays teachers match those of its better endowed sister institutions like All Saints, Little Flower and St. Paul’s, yet its fee is but a fraction of theirs. A large number of freeships ensure that our services are not beyond those who need it most. Boys Town industrial Training Center has become one of the largest Vocational Training Providers in Andhra Pradesh. It is a model institution in Production-Cum-Training with self sufficiency. It has collaborated with several NGOS for imparting Vocational Skill Training for women from various districts of Andhra Pradesh. The School, ITC and Hostel have a new look with all the building painted in attractive colours.
