Chicken Tandoori Recipe 😍
Here's a classic Chicken Tandoori recipe:

- 1 kg chicken (whole or cut into pieces)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (for color, optional)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving

1. **Prepare the Chicken:**
- If using a whole chicken, make deep cuts on the drumsticks, thighs, and breast to help the marinade pe*****te. If using pieces, make sure they are similarly scored.
2. **Marinate the Chicken:**
- In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika (if using), vegetable oil, and salt to make a smooth marinade.
- Rub the marinade thoroughly over the chicken, making sure to get it into the cuts. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
3. **Preheat the Oven:**
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

- Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and place a wire rack over it. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces on the rack.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a slight char.

- Alternatively, you can grill the chicken on a barbecue or use a grill pan on the stove. Cook on medium heat, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.

- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven or grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
