Our story
Manas resort with petting zoo, as the name suggest, is a resort with first of its kind, petting zoo in India. The lush green landscaped 7 & half Acres, resort and petting zoo, is on a property situated on 1900 ft. above sea level in Igatpuri, on Mumbai Nashik highway. The resort is designed on different levels, offering different level of services and facilities. It is close to Mumbai, with 2 hours drive, on Mumbai Nashik Road.
The first ever, petting zoo, houses exotic human friendly birds, in walk in aviaries, in the resort. Guests are allowed to enter different aviaries, and offer food, play with birds, and understand their behavior. The resort has exotic animals like Iguana, Sugar gliders, Ostrich etc. that are also human friendly and fun to feed & play. The resort has its own kennel, with 21 different exotic, trained dog breeds. Resort has developed 15000 sq. ft. off Leash Park with agility equipment for mental & physical stimulation of, in house as well as guest dogs. We are a pet friendly resort and we welcome all sorts of guest pets.
Resort is covered with dense fog, during Monsoon & Winters. The resort offers a panoramic view of green surrounding valleys & mountains, with waterfalls flowing during Monsoon. The resort has 70 well-appointed rooms (couple rooms to signature villa) of different categories, to suit every budget & taste. The resort offers attractive rates on packages, if booked well in advance.
Facilities at resort include 3 banquet halls of different sizes, 360-degree coffee shop, Crème the fine dine restaurant, and wellness spa & saloon to pamper your body and mind. The resort has huge green lawns for functions like destination wedding, corporate events or group picnics. Resort has two swimming polls (Infinity pool for adults and kids pool) connected with 20 feet waterfall running 12 months a year.
