Chalo Eco Hostel is a small family-run hostel that offers fun, welcoming and family-like environment to offer our guests a true Indian experience that you won't get in a corporate hotel. We run by the mindset reduce, reuse and recycle to reduce the impact we have on the planet and our India. Whether you're travelling with your mates, solo or with someone special we have a room to meet your needs.
You can choose between dorm rooms to socialise and get inspired, a private 'jugaad' room where we've had fun decorating and a romantic rooftop room (when's the last time you slept under a thatched roof?). There's plenty of place to socialise, chill and day dream: the living-room with board-games and dress-up setting, the rooftop and the entrance garden to sit down, connect and relax, and the kitchen to showcase the Masterchef skills (or just make a sandwich). The hostel is situated in a local residential area of the old town - between the walls of the Pink City. This means that all the major sights like the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, but also the bazaars and small shops are in close reach. Our family has lived in this house for more than 100 years just like many others in the neighbourhood, so it's a really close neighbourhood where everyone knows everyone.
