From city streets to village looms.

Manpura gave us a glimpse into the craft behind every rug—hours of work, steady hands, and a whole lot of patience.
Safe to say, we have a new level of respect after attempting a few knots ourselves.

Followed by lunch with the wonderful team at Jaipur Rugs—a perfect end to an afternoon that felt both grounding and inspiring.

Led by Rich Walk, we wandered through Jaipur one bite at a time—stopping where the locals stop, hearing the stories behind it all, and eating far more than we intended to.

Safe to say, when you’re still thinking about a meal the next day… you go back for it!

Just outside Jaipur is Bagru-one of the places that's kept Jaipur on the map for its textiles.
This is where block printing has been done for over 300 years. Wooden blocks, natural dyes, and a whole lot of patience. Everything is stamped by hand, so nothing comes out exactly the same (which is what makes it special).
It's simple, a little messy, and very satisfying to watch. Definitely one of those Jaipur things we always recommend you don't miss...

At Abode Jaipur, calm comes naturally. Soft light, quiet corners, and spaces that feel easy to settle into.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, but never overdone. The design simply works with what was already here — a 300-year-old building, full of character, gently brought back to life.

Just outside Jaipur is Bagru—one of the places that’s kept Jaipur on the map for its textiles.
