OVERVIEW
The Wild Atlantic Way is one of the worldās greatest coastal road trips. Stretching from the Inishowen Peninsula in the north to Kinsale in the south, it delivers cliffs, islands, pubs, ruins, and some of the rawest landscapes in Europe.
DAY 1ā2: Inishowen Peninsula ā Malin Head
Irelandās northernmost point. Windswept cliffs, crashing waves, and Star Wars filming locations. A dramatic way to begin.
DAY 3: Donegal Coast ā Slieve League Cliffs
Among the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Less crowded than Moher and just as jaw dropping.
DAY 4: Donegal ā Achill Island
Cliff drives, wild beaches, abandoned villages, and Atlantic storms rolling straight in from America.
DAY 5: Mayo ā Galway
Traditional music, lively pubs, and colorful streets. A perfect cultural reset after the wild north.
DAY 6: Galway ā Cliffs of Moher
Irelandās most famous cliffs. Walk the edge, watch the seabirds, and feel how small you really are.
DAY 7: Clare ā Di**le Peninsula
Narrow roads, stone walls, ancient forts, and some of the most scenic coastal driving in Europe.
DAY 8: Ring of Kerry
Mountains, lakes, Atlantic viewpoints, and classic Irish postcard scenery at every turn.
DAY 9: Kerry ā Cork
A lively southern city with great food, history, and access to quieter coastal towns.
DAY 10: Cork ā Kinsale
Finish in one of Irelandās prettiest towns. Colorful streets, seafood, and a well earned pint to end the journey.
