We were truly honoured to host Dr. Lobsang Sangay and his family at our restaurant.

A Harvard scholar and the first democratically elected Prime Minister (Sikyong) of the Central Tibetan Administration, Dr. Sangay made history as the first non-monk and first Tibetan born outside Tibet in Darjeeling, India to hold the position.

And what better way to enjoy a traditional Nepali thali than eating it with your hands, the way it’s meant to be enjoyed

Conversations filled with warmth, resilience, and hope made this visit incredibly special for us.
