AN APPEAL FOR HELP

Dear All,
Today we stand at an unfortunate and challenging moment as one of our friends is seriously ill and is battling for her life. With heavy hearts we would like to inform you that one of us from Gorkha Students JNU, Ms. Binita Rai, is admitted to Medical ICU in Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. She is from Tindharia, Kurseong, who is presently a PhD student at the Centre for Inner Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and an alumini of Sikkim University. She is suffering from Sepsis, which has caused life threatening complications in her lungs and heart. Her condition is critical to say the least and today is the 8th day that she is in the ICU. From past three days she is also under ventilator support. The hospital bills/expenses per day is growing exorbitantly and going by the interim bill, the total amount may exceed 30 lakhs over the period of her treatment. Therefore, we humbly appeal everyone to help with any amount of monetary contribution for her treatment. Your kind support is most crucial in this moment as we are exceedingly distressed by her critical condition and at the same time dispirited due to the escalating medical bills that are beyond our means.
