About Kanha:- Kanha Tiger reserve lies within longitude 80º - 26’- 10” to 81º - 4’- 40” and latitude 22º - 1’- 5” to 22º – 27’-48”.The tiger reserve (1949 Sq km) has two division, core zone ( National park, 940sq km), and buffer zone ( Multiple use area, 1009 sq km). The park was created in 1955 by a special law and, since then, it has dedicated itself in preserving a variety of animal species. It was declared a Tiger reserve in 1973. Kanha National Park is one of the most beautiful and well managed of all national parks in India. It is well known not only within the tourists, natural history photographers and wildlife lovers but also to public at large. Tourist throng here to see the magnificent big cat Tiger and one of the rarest deer the Hard ground Barasingha (Swamp Deer) also known as the – Jewel of Kanha national park. Jeep Safari: - Morning and evening jeep safaris in Kanha National Park are escorted by our specialized guides for extensive wild life viewing. Your day begins just before dawn with wakeup call along with a cup of tea/coffee at the designated time (i.e. if you are not already up by some call from the inhabitants of the jungle). An open Gypsy awaits you to take you even closer to the nature and to see the majestic tigers. We provide some fruits neatly packed and a bottle of mineral water for you 4 hour safari in the jungle.
