গয়না-বড়ি

পূর্ব মেদিনীপুরের ময়নায় তৈরি হয় গয়না বড়ি। মূলত বিউলির ডাল দিয়ে বড়ি তৈরি করা হলেও সঙ্গে পোস্ত এবং সাদা তিলও দেওয়া হয়। মুসুর ডালের গয়না-বড়িও গত পরশু খেয়েছি ডালের সঙ্গে। নানান ধরনের গয়নার আদলে তৈরি এই গয়না-বড়ি প্রথম দর্শনেই মন কেড়ে নেয়। ভাজা হয়ে পাতে পড়লে খেতেও দারুণ স্বাদ। শীতকালেই তৈরি হয় এই গয়না-বড়ি। এটি রবীন্দ্রনাথ, নন্দলাল বসু, সত্যজিৎ রায় প্রমুখ বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদেরও পছন্দের তালিকায় ছিল। শোনা যায়, নন্দলাল বসু নাকি বলেছিলেন "গয়না-বড়ি হল মায়েদের গয়নার বাক্স।"

প্রকৃতির নিবিড় সান্নিধ্যে, নির্মল প্রশান্তি উপলব্ধি করতে দুটোদিন কাটিয়ে যান এই বিশ্বমানের ইকো ট্যুরিজম সংস্থায়। “মনচাষা” বাঁশ, কাঠ, মাটি, হোগলা, খড় দিয়ে বানানো হলেও রয়েছে আধুনিক সমস্তরকম সুযোগ সুবিধা। আছে বেশ কয়েক প্রজাতির বাঁশ, নানা ধরনের ফুল-ফলাদির গাছ, দুটি বড় পুকুর এবং বাচ্চাদের জন্য খেলার জায়গা। বাঁশ-কাঠ দিয়েই বানানো হয়েছে একটি নজর মিনার যেখান থেকে চারদিকের সবুজের সমারোহ দেখতে ভালোই লাগে। আছে একটি ছোট্ট সংগ্রহশালা যেখানে দেখতে পাবেন হারিয়ে যাওয়া গ্রামীণ জীবনের কিছু ব্যবহার সামগ্রী।

চাইলে বাচ্ছাদের দেখান বিভিন্ন শাকসব্জি চাষের ব্যবস্থা। তারা শিখুক মাছ ধরা। খেলতে খেলতে প্রকৃতির পাঠ নিক ওরা। আরো বাকি আছে, সেসব এসেই দেখুন .. এক কথায়, প্রকৃতিপ্রেমীদের জন্য আদর্শ এই মনচাষা।
