There was a time when you could go round the mulberry bush. While you can still do that at Shalom, you will also notice that all around there are mulberry bushes.

From just a single mulberry bush we now have around 60 mulberry bushes ensuring that there's enough not only for us and the birds that love them. But every guest who stays with us during the season, can pluck and feast on them.

The fruit too is used as medicine for the same disease in some countries.
