Now that the monsoons have set in, it's awesome to see nature make the shift from survival in the summer to thriving. The ample water makes the trees and plants send out new shoots with fresh green leaves.

Every where you look each plant has multiple shades of green to calm and relax you. The monsoon flowers are blooming and the frog orchestra will serenade you every night.

There was a time when you could go round the mulberry bush. While you can still do that at Shalom, you will also notice that all around there are mulberry bushes.

From just a single mulberry bush we now have around 60 mulberry bushes ensuring that there's enough not only for us and the birds that love them. But every guest who stays with us during the season, can pluck and feast on them.
