Our Story

We introduce our self as Hotel Shivalik on Kasauli road Dharampur, Kasauli (H.P). Kasauli is a place where even time takes a pause to stand still and admire the view of the reserve pine forest and the magnificent valleys which are present all around us Throughout the year our guests breathe intoxicating air, view breathtaking scenery and serenity that can hardly be found elsewhere. It is just 25 Kms from Kalka and 50 Kms from Chandigarh. The Hotel is surrounded by more than 10,000 bighas of reserved forest and has 60 luxuries rooms that will pamper you with all the modern amenities to make you feel completely at home even while you are away from it. The Family suits, super deluxe rooms, deluxe rooms are all equipped with intercom, mini bar, tea/coffee maker, LED Television with satellite channels. All the rooms are open to valley with their own balconies for optimal privacy. The location is such, that it gives a beautiful view of the rising and setting sun. All rooms are equipped with running hot and cold water around the clock. Shivalik provides extra facilities like 24 hours check-in, Doctor on call, barber on call, travel desk, internet surfing, laundry service, cabs on hire etc. Separate kitchen facility is available for package tours, conferences & a banquet hall with a capacity of over 150 Pax seating in theatre style and 40 in a round table setup. The hall is equipped with a projector, sound, collar mic, white board, D.J also other items can be arranged as per your request. It is a drive in hotel with a secured parking facility for more than 50 Cars equipped with valet service. We have a live kitchen serving Indian, Chinese, Continental, Tandoor and Bar-be-cue. We also offer expertise in arranging school Picnics, Seminars, Educational Programmes, meditation Camps, Tours, Camping, Hiking-Trekking and many other forms of recreation. There are many beautiful hills as well as valleys to see like Shimla, Chail, Kasauli, Dagshai, Solan, Sabhathu, Dharampur, Sanawar and Renuka Ji etc. Where you can spend from one to four days through our specialised packages. In and around Kasauli there are a lot of places to see like the world famous about 170 years old Heritage School that is The Lawrence School, Sanawar, The Pinegrove School, world famous CRI kasauli, Mankay Point, the Church of England which around 300 years old, Sunset Point, Upper Mall, Lower Mall, Air Force Station, Sai Temple, Baba Balak Nath Temple on Gunner Parwat, Mansa Devi Temple and the heritage towns of Dagshai & Subathu are the main attractions. In Shimla and Chail there are a lot of heritage properties and points to visit as well. Also Renuka Ji is a place where a natural lake and Lion Safari is worth seeing. We have special guides for the students to take them on Trekking–Hiking. Also we set up evening bonfire, music, dance and dine on the roof top which is one of the main attractions of our Resort. An aesthetically designed restaurant is meant to serve delicious food complete with pleasant lighting, soft music which is an ideal settings for catching up on those rare moments with friends and family. We also have three huge open Terraces with a capacity of 700, 300, 60 pax separately. One thing that has been taken special care of at this property is that wherever you are you are greeted with a picturesque and serene view of the mountains and always makes you feel close to nature.
