A Heartfelt Tribute to Late Shri Avinash Gulati Ji
It is with profound grief and a heavy heart that we at KC Residency Katra mourn the sad demise of Shri Avinash Gulati Ji.
For many years, Gulati Ji was much more than a valued guest of our hotel—he became a part of the KC Residency family. Every year, he would bring his large group of devotees to Katra for the sacred Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, and for over a week our hotel would come alive with devotion, joy, bhajans, laughter, and an atmosphere that truly felt like a festival.
A deeply spiritual soul and a selfless servant of humanity, Gulati Ji dedicated his life to helping others undertake sacred pilgrimages. He quietly enabled hundreds of devotees to visit holy destinations such as Mata Vaishno Devi, Varanasi, Haridwar, and Ayodhya, often arranging travel, accommodation, and meals without seeking recognition or reward. His generosity, humility, and unwavering faith touched countless lives.
His passing, after a prolonged illness over the past two years, has left an irreplaceable void—not only in Mumbai and Katra, but also among the many devotees and friends whose lives he enriched through his kindness and service.
We shall always cherish the memories of his warm smile, affectionate nature, and the immense positivity he brought wherever he went. His legacy of compassion and selfless service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
On behalf of the entire KC Residency Katra family, we offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to Mata Vaishno Devi to grant eternal peace to his noble soul and give strength to his loved ones to bear this irreparable loss.
Om Shanti.
