A momentous step toward the next season of farming! 🌾

We are proud to share that Mr. E.D. Joseph recently organized a Pokkali Rice distribution event at his Pizhala Pokkali Farm, handing over Pokkali rice seeds to Krishi Bhavan Officer Kadamakudy for the upcoming cultivation cycle.
It was an honor to have Pizhala Panchayath President, Shri M.S. Antony, along with esteemed Panchayath members and other Farmers, join us on June 18th to witness this collaborative effort.
Together, we are dedicated to preserving the legacy and vitality of our traditional Pokkali farming heritage. 🚜✨

🌾In 2011, he self-funded & directed "Pokkali", a documentary highlighting Kerala's unique saltwater-tolerant rice. He even went to the High Court to fight for its recognition. A true eco-warrior!
