In homes, families worship Goddess Saraswati by placing books and study materials before her, teaching children to respect education from an early age. In schools and colleges, students and teachers come together to organise the puja, along with cultural activities like music, art, and recitation.
Indigenous communities also observe Saraswati Puja by blending it with their own traditions, where knowledge is understood beyond textbooks—embracing oral wisdom, nature-based learning, craftsmanship, music, and ancestral practices passed down through generations.
