I was too young to write a travelogue, instead, I did what I could do best. Made some sketches in my tiny notebook. In those days 'notebook's were not digital! The best one of those sketches was of Ahava, the guest house managed by Dr. Graham's Home School Committee, my resting place for that night too. Woken up very early in the next morning with a melancholy tone of bagpipes, the least I had expected in that tranquility. Met with a septagenarian, fatherly Scottish gentleman at the source of that tune, who later became my guide and helped me to sore my knees, all other bone joints in next few days while we walked through the pines, lanes, alleys and all other paths possible, to explore Kalimpong.
My best ever tour it was, indeed!
