Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage daily financial operations at our budget hotels. You will handle routine bookkeeping, guest billing reconciliations, and vendor payments. A strong foundational knowledge of Indian taxation—specifically GST, TDS, and Income Tax—is required to ensure absolute compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers to claim Input Tax Credit (ITC).
Calculate and deposit monthly TDS deductions on vendor payments.
Prepare quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q and 26Q).
Assist in gathering documentation for annual Income Tax filings and audits.
Core Accounting & Operations
Record daily hotel revenue, cash receipts, and digital payments.
Reconcile daily Property Management System (PMS) reports with bank statements.
Process vendor invoices and verify delivery challenges against purchase orders.
Maintain the general ledger and update accounts payable/receivable daily.
Manage petty cash expenses for front office and housekeeping departments.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.Software:
Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Tax Knowledge: Practical understanding of GST slabs for budget hotels and TDS sections (194C, 194I, 194J).
Preferred Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, Bengali.
High level of honesty and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently during peak hotel check-out hours.
Salary Range: 12000 ~ 15000
