“Five Star All the Way; A real gem of a Hotel; 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend”
Stayed for 2 weeks from end of November into December 2015
Staff and Service - Absolutely fantastic from start to finish; Always helpful and everyone from the guys (:) Arin), to the security, and especially the front of house team in Manager Soumya (Sam), Roky (thank you both so so much!) and Sobhan were exemplary in their customer service, warmth and making someone's first visit to Kolkata a memorable one. They helped arrange transport, recommended dishes to eat from the very extensive menu (!!), and nothing was too much trouble. A lot of 5 star hotels could learn from this team... a very personal service. They made my stay and I was very sad to leave!... would I go back?... most definitely 100%!!!!!
Wifi - Free, excellent and fast.
Breakfast - Great selection and plenty of it!
Dinner - Wow... the menu was so extensive I was spoilt for choice. Sam was fabulous in suggesting what I might like and he hit the nail on the head each and every time. (I haven't forgotten the puchkas either!!:)) Cooked fresh and very very tasty!
Cleanliness - Spotless, and room was made up every day. Tastefully decorated to a very high standard.
Room and first floor - Very generous in size with ample storage for clothes and suitcases and large bathroom (I was in Room 1011); Large sitting room for each of the 3 apartments on each floor. Large kitchen to use too if needed
Location - Quick to get in to the centre by using a taxi if traffic ok. I would recommend either using the pick up taxi from the Hotel if coming from the airport, or calling the Hotel when in a taxi for directions.
Swimming Pool - small but great to use after a long and tiring day in the centre. Beautifully lit at night.
