ইয়া দেবী সর্বভূতেষু বিদ্যারূপেণ সংস্থিতা।
নমস্তসৈ নমস্তসৈ নমস্তসৈ নমো নমঃ।।

বাগ দেবীর আগমনী বীণা বাতাসে বাজতে শুরু করেছে রাত পোহালেই দেবীর আগমন ।চারিদিকে ব্যস্ততা ও খুশির জোয়ার,হলুদ পাঞ্জাবি ,শাড়ি আর সর্ষে ফুলে চারি দিক মুখরিত হতে শুরু করেছে হলুদের ছোঁয়ায়। মণ্ডপ এ মণ্ডপ এ আল্পনার কাজ প্রায় শেষ ,বাতাস এ বইয়ে আসছে শিমুল,পলাশ এর গন্ধ কুমোরটুলি তে শুরু হইছে দেবীর চক্ষু দান পর্ব।
জ্ঞান , উজ্জ্বলতা ও নবজীবনের প্রতীক বহন করে এই বসন্ত পঞ্চমী , বাগ দেবী কে স্মরণ করে বিদ্যা, আনন্দ ও সম্পর্কের এক সুন্দর মেলবন্ধন ঘটতে চলেছে ললিত স্মৃতি ছাত্রাবাস প্রাঙ্গণে। এই বিশেষ দিন এ সকলের উপস্থিতি একান্ত কাম্য।

हस्ते स्फटिकमालिकां विदधतीं पद्मासने संस्थिताम्
वन्दे तां परमेश्वरीं भगवतीं बुद्धिप्रदां शारदाम्॥

Spring. Or as it is called in bengali, Basanta. That time of the year where flowers blossom, new friendships arise and old friendships flourish, everyone loitering around with a jovial mood in their hearts, conquering their desire to do anything but impatiently wait for days of celebration.

विद्यारंभे सुखं स्यात् साध्यं सर्वमुपागतम्॥"

"সরস্বতী পুজো, বিদ্যার দেবী সরস্বতীর আরাধনায় সমর্পিত এক অমিত মাহাত্ম্যের উদযাপন। বাঙালি মননে এক গভীর আধ্যাত্মিক ঐতিহ্যরূপে এটি প্রতি বছর এক আনন্দঘন মুহূর্ত। শীতল পবনে, মাধুর্যপূর্ণ সুরে, স্নিগ্ধ ফুলের গন্ধে মগ্ন হয়ে আমরা তাঁর প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করি। বাণী, সংগীত, ও বিদ্যার পরাক্রমের অধিষ্ঠাত্রী, সরস্বতী মা আমাদের চেতনাকে উদ্বুদ্ধ করে জীবনের প্রতি উজ্জ্বলতর পথের দিকে আমাদের প্রেরণা দেন। এই পূজা আমাদের আত্মার শুদ্ধতা, অজ্ঞতার থেকে জ্ঞান, অন্ধকার থেকে আলো পাওয়ার আকাঙ্ক্ষা ফুটিয়ে তোলে।"

ললিত স্মৃতি ছাত্রাবাসে সরস্বতী পূজার আনন্দমুখর পরিবেশে ৫ দিন বাকি। বিদ্যার দেবী সরস্বতীকে স্মরণ করে, আমরা সবাই একত্রিত হয়ে এই পবিত্র উৎসবে অংশগ্রহণ করব। জ্ঞান ও সৃষ্টির শক্তিতে আমাদের জীবন আলোকিত হোক।
