We just hit a massive milestone in the 11 Gaon Movement. Today’s cleanup in Sakmunda added 67.88 KG to our tally, bringing our 30-day total to a staggering 731.55 KG.
But these numbers aren't just statistics—they are a wake-up call.
We’ve identified 4 Critical Zones in the Sakmunda streams (Raulas). What we found is heartbreaking. These are the arteries of our mountains, now choked by decades of human negligence. Every plastic bottle and wrapper shown in these photos was a choice made by someone who thought "one piece won't matter."
The Current Count:
📊 Total Collected: 731.55 KG
🎯 The Goal: 1,000 KG (1 Ton)
⏳ Remaining: 268.45 KG
The Road Ahead:
Next week, we head to the Market for our Mega-Cleanup. This is where we cross the 1-Ton mark and prove that the youth of Uttarakhand can reclaim their roots from the plastic tide.
Nature didn't create this mess. Man did. And now, we are cleaning it up.

What started as a small step on January 5th has turned into a mountain-moving reality. Today, we stand at 636.29 KG of waste removed from the beautiful trails of Jaiharikhal, Lansdowne.
From hazardous legacy glass to stubborn micro-plastics, we are reclaiming our land one bag at a time.
Total Plastic: 173 KG
Total Glass: 284 KG (The silent killer of our soil)
Legacy & Micro-plastic: 123 KG
Mission 1,000 KG is in our sights. We aren't stopping until the trails are clean and the message is clear: Our Himalayas are not a dumping ground! 🧤🔥
