സിനിമ ഒരു വികാരവും യാത്ര എനിക്കെന്റെ അന്നം തരുന്ന ജോലിയുമാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ആറുമാസമായി ഒരു ടൂർ മാനേജർ എന്ന ജോലിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഇടതടവില്ലാതെ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അകത്തും പുറത്തും നടത്തിയത് പത്തോളം ടൂറുകളാണ്. വിവിധ ടൂറുകളിലായി എന്റെ കൂടെ യാത്ര നടത്തിയത് അഞ്ഞൂറ് കണക്കിന് ആളുകളും.
ഓരോ യാത്രയും എനിക്ക് സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നത് കുറെയധികം നല്ല ഓർമകളാണ്. ഒരേ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ പിന്നെയും പിന്നെയും പോകുമ്പോഴും മടുപ്പനുഭവിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് എന്റെ കൂടെ വരുന്ന സഹയാത്രികരുടെ നല്ല മനസ്സാണ്. അവരോടു ആടിത്തിടപഴകുവാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ എനിക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്, മറ്റൊരിടത്തും കിട്ടാത്ത അനുഭങ്ങളാണ്. ഓരോ യാത്രക്കാർക്കും പറയുവാൻ എന്തെങ്കിലുമൊക്കെ കഥകളുണ്ടാകും, അത് കേട്ടിരിക്കുവാൻ അത്രയേറെ രസവുമാണ്.
എന്റെ സിനിമ ജീവിതം മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ സഹായിക്കുവാൻ പോകുന്നതും ഇതേ യാത്രാകളും, യാത്രകളിൽ പരിചയപ്പെടുന്ന ആളുകളുടെ അനുഭവങ്ങളും ആയിരിക്കും
ഇനിയും ഒരുപാട് ദൂരം സഞ്ചരിക്കുവാനായി കിടക്കുന്നു.

2021 - ഞാൻ എന്ത് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചോ അവിടെ എന്നെ കൊണ്ട് ചെന്നെത്തിച്ച വർഷം. മലയാള സിനിമ മേഖലയിൽ എനിക്ക് എന്റേതായ identity തന്ന വർഷം. എനിക്കൊരു ബിസിനസ് ചെയ്യുവാൻ സാധിക്കും എന്ന് മനസ്സിലായ വർഷം. അങനെ അങനെ 2021 എന്തുകൊണ്ടും എന്നെ പുതിയൊരു ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് നയിച്ച വർഷം ആയിരുന്നു.

ഇനി പുതിയ കാൽവെപ്പുകളാണ്‌. കണ്ട സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ യാഥാർഥ്യമാക്കാനുള്ള യാത്ര. വലിയ യാത്ര.
